Well, guys, Time for the Yarn Vomit KAL.
I want pictures of whatever you manage to get done by midnight tonight, so I can see ya’lls starts.
Happy Knitting!
Hey guys!
Okay, so some newww stuff.
First off, go look at my new pattern. Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
Yes, that IS the name. It’s on the left hand side of your screen. Go. Look and then come back. I’m patient. I’ll wait.
Oh! And the new pattern even has a picture! WOOO!
Now, I was going to post all these cool links to blogs of people I met in a blog love swap, but I’m too damned lazy, so there.
Other newness? Mom and dad bought five videogames today, of which dad and I are currently playing Evercrack, Champeens of No Wrath. (Everquest, Champions of Norrath.)
Also, my dad won 100 dollars playing the lottery last weekend, GO DAD! I LOVE YOU BUY ME ROCKBAND FOR THE PS2.
Kidding, of course. Mostly.
Anyway, I had some cool pics to show off, but I accidentally deleted them. CURSES.
So you’ll have to settle with going and seeing my new myspace. Go. Visit it. NOW.
Heyyyy guys!
So, there’s alot that’s gone on in the past week that I should have told ya’ll about, but didn’t becuase. Well. I’m lazy.
First off, remember that my MP3 player fried. I sent it back, got a new one, and have spent the last WEEK trying to get it to work. After TEN phone calls to tech support, I finally got it working (can’t say how though, becuase I promised not to.) Now it works, that’s all I care about. It’s shiny and new. Pictures coming soon.
Since we don’t celebrate christmas, and my parents anniversary (January 1st.) is a family affair, we all get gifts for new years.
I got:
A brand spankin’ new coat that actually keeps me WARM. It’s a 3 - in -1 coat, with a down filled inner jacket that is worn inside the hooded outer rainjacket. It’s warm and fluffy and I love it.
A rifle. it’s a 1942 Savage model 87 AB (I think.) I know that it was so old they had a hard time registering it becuase it had no serial number. I got to shoot it today. Went through 100 cartridges like nothing. The thing has NO KICK (it’s a .22 longrifle, semi autotmatic or single shot.). My only problem is that I have NO long distance vision, so I have to wear my glasses when I shoot. It’s also very quiet, so I don’t need those funky damned earmuff thingies.
A copy of Final Fantasy 1 & 2 Dawn of Souls (for the GBA) and Final Fantasy 4 (for the GBA) I now have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. I need 8 - 10 and 12. Becuase 11 sucks.
I dunno i might get a copy just ta have it.
I’ve not been knitting, not lately, and I really should be. I have an excuse to knit myself some trigger finger mitts though now.
Some bad news though:
We came home NEw Years Eve from hiking (in the daytime.). We had some fireworks to set off, and When I came into the bedroom, I found that my Brown Sugar (The one in my picture) was torn up, the same way that, in october, four of the others had jumped on my beloved poo bear (of blessed memory.). Poo survived 36 hours before succumbing to the injuries. Brown is nowhere near as torn up as poo was. He’s eating, running around, drinking. We’ve got him on antibiotics and painkillers. His leg got torn up and his ear is practically in shreds. I know his ear hurts him worse, becuase he’ll be walking around and start pulling on his ear. I know he’ll be okay, but I’m still worried about him.
Okay, so thgat’s it. When mom gets home, I’ll be able to take pictures of my kick ass stuff (coat, rifle, mp3 player.) as well as transfer the rest of my CDs to my mp3 player.
Any ideas for names for my Rifle? I’m very heavily considering Shelly. Maybe I should look up popular names of 1942.
