“Jacked” Lace Scarf

PICTURES COMING SOON.

The yarn mocked me.

It was this beautiful vibrant purple, originally bought for knitting the “Choke” scarf. But I worked 2 pattern repeats and then said “screw it.” So the yarn sat.

So, I was perusing the new issue of Interweave knits. And I saw this beautiful lace pattern. So I grabbed my notebook form my bag, and I jacked the stitch pattern. Shamelessly. I sat down and wrote it out. Then put the magazine back.

Then I brought the pattern home, and swatched. So this is the result.

Materials:

1 Skein worsted weight yarn ( I used Caron SimplySoft.)

1 set US size 7 needles.

Note: You can use virtually any yarn & needles for this.

Gauge: ?? It’s a scarf.

To Make:

C/O 32 Stitches.

Knit 1 Row.

Next Row (Patt row 1): *K2, (K2TOG, YO) twice.* Repeat to last 2 stitches, K2.

Row 2: Purl.

Row 3: *K2, (YO, SSK.) Twice. * Repeat to last two stitches, K2.

Row 4: Purl.

Repeat rows 1-4 until desired length. End on row 4. Knit 1 row plain, then Bind Off.

Thanks for, er, “borrowing” and posting this pattern. It’s going to be my generic “I have to give a gift to this person for the holidays but I don’t know what to get them” project. I’ve already made one and number 2 is in the works.

    GO ROGUE!
